QUESTION 1: In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products?

 

In this evaluation question I will be explaining how we use other media products to help create a band, image and media products that suit the Industrial Rock genre. In order to create professional media products and create a star image I needed to do thorough research on the genre and use this to help create our media products.

 

However not only did I use this information in our music video, website and digipak, we also developed these concepts and sometimes even challenged the genre itself. We didnt always stick to the forms and conventions of the genre as you will see throughout this response.

 

Research in the industry and certain theorists helped us create media porudcts that looked effective.

 

Hopefully you will see that our products look professional and conform to the stereotypes of the genre, as well as bringing in some originality.
